Dane’s family ties to Atascosa County date all the way back to the 1870’s when his ancestors settled in the area. He was born and raised in Pleasanton, only spending time away to attend the University of Texas at Austin. It’s there where he met his wife Amber and convinced her to settle down in his hometown. After college he returned home to run his family’s business and also pursued a career in firefighting. He has been employed as a Professional Firefighter by Schertz Fire Department for over 10 years. He resides in Pleasanton and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three kids.
