Joseph was born and raised in Alamo Heights, San Antonio, Texas. He founded Vives Land LLC in May 2004 and has remained continuously involved in the Texas land business. Joseph has operated as an independent landman representing oil and gas companies and landowners for twenty years. His extensive professional experience in land and minerals has proven essential in Joseph’s long- lasting landowner and company relations. In 2014, Joseph obtained his Texas Real Estate license and further enhanced his land operations in ranch real estate.

Joseph lives with his wife, Codi, five-year-old son, Henry, and two-year-old daughter, Kate, in Olmos Park, Texas. They enjoy their downtime with friends and family and spending time together at the ranch and the coast.
